Douglas Laboratories Zinc Lozenges is a dietary supplement for immune and antioxidant support. The essential trace element zinc is necessary for the activity of over 300 enzymes as well as having involvement in most major metabolic pathways. Immune cells need to be able to divide rapidly and cells that rapidly divide need proper levels of dietary zinc. Zinc is a cofactor of the antioxidant enzyme superoxide dismutase (SOD) and is considered to be an antioxidant nutrient.

Recommended use: adults take 1 lozenge, 1-3 times daily; children age 4+ take 1 lozenge, or as directed by a health professional. Allow lozenge to dissolve in mouth or chew and then swallow.
